Snowflakes, Smiles & Sparkle — Fused Glass Workshop Recap
Snowflakes, Smiles & Sparkle — Fused Glass Workshop Recap
Our January 10th Fused Glass Snowflake Workshop may have been a smaller group, but wow — it was packed with creativity and good energy.
There’s something special about a cozy winter class. With a more intimate group, everyone had extra time to experiment, ask questions, and really lean into the process. And every single participant chose to make snowflakes or snow inspired pieces — each one completely different from the next. Some were delicate, others bold and geometric, and all of them caught the light beautifully.
One of the best parts? Seeing everyone’s reactions when they picked up their finished pieces. Once the glass was fired and fused, the colors deepened, the textures came alive, and those snowy designs truly sparkled. It’s always a little bit of magic when you see your finished glass for the first time.
Most importantly, it was just plain fun. New skills were learned, creativity flowed, and the gallery was filled with conversation and laughter.
Workshops like this are exactly why we love bringing hands-on art experiences to Steelton.

Next Up: Glass Valentines — February 6th

If you missed this one, don’t worry — our next fused glass workshop is right around the corner!
On Friday, February 6th, we’ll be hosting Glass Valentines, where you’ll create a beautiful glass Valentine tile perfect as a suncatcher, coaster, or mounted keepsake. It’s the perfect excuse for a creative date night, a fun evening with friends, or even a solo night out to make something meaningful (for someone else… or yourself!).
Spots are limited to 12 participants, and these workshops tend to fill quickly.
