Soap Knight Workshop Recap

Soap Knight Workshop Recap — Creativity, Color, and Community!

This past Saturday, Coexist Gallery had the pleasure of hosting the Soap Knight Workshop led by the talented team at FigaroBrosGaming — and what an unforgettable day it was!

Throughout our three sessions at 12 PM, 3 PM, and 6 PM, participants of all experience levels came together to learn the art of cold process soapmaking while also crafting their own matching (or not)  4 oz soy candle. With each table filled with vibrant colorants, rich oils, custom fragrances, and plenty of laughter, the gallery was buzzing with creativity from start to finish.

Every attendee suited up with provided safety gear and received guided instruction on each step of the process — from measuring lye and blending oils to customizing colors, swirling designs, and pouring their very own 2 lb soap loaf. And while each class faced its own fun set of challenges, everyone rolled with it, supported one another, and walked away proud of the beautiful creations they made.

One of the best parts?
Participants took their candles home the same day, while their handcrafted soap loaves stayed behind briefly to set. In just 1–2 days, each loaf will be picked up freshly cut and ready to cure.

The results?
Absolutely stunning! Every session produced unique soaps full of personality, scent, and artistic flair.

We couldn’t be happier with how the workshop turned out, and we’re incredibly thankful to FigaroBrosGaming for their amazing instruction and energy. Seeing our community come together to try something new is what Coexist Gallery is all about.

We can’t wait to host the Soap Knight Workshop again — stay tuned for the next date!
