Valentine’s Soap Night Recap — Love Was in the Air (and So Were Amazing Scents!) 
We had an absolute blast at our Valentine’s Soap Night, hosted by the always fantastic FigaroBrosGaming here in Steelton!
The energy in the room was relaxed, creative, and full of laughter as participants rolled up their sleeves and dove into crafting their own 2-lb cold process soap loaves from scratch. Some came as couples for an early Valentine’s date night, others brought friends, and a few took on the creative adventure solo — but by the end of the night, everyone was proudly admiring their one-of-a-kind creations.
From blending oils and lye to choosing fragrances and swirling vibrant mica colors, each soap loaf developed its own personality. And that was one of the coolest parts of the night — no two soaps looked alike, and no two smelled the same. Floral blends, sweet dessert-inspired scents, fresh and clean aromas… the gallery smelled absolutely incredible.
There’s something special about watching people experiment with scent combinations and color swirls, knowing that in just a few weeks those bars will be fully cured and ready to use or gift.
After the soaps rested on-site, participants returned Monday to cut their loaves into bars — always a satisfying moment! Seeing those clean cuts reveal the final swirl patterns is like opening a present.
It was truly a night filled with creativity, good vibes, and amazing smells.
